There are currently just two certified atlas orthogonal chiropractors in the Kansas City area, awith relatively few practitioners in the area focusing specifically on other forms of upper cervical chiropractic care.
At Healing Neck +, we also intentionally maintain a lower patient volume so that we can provide the level of time, attention to detail, and individualized care that our patients have come to expect.
The combination of limited availability in this specialty and our commitment to providing high-quality, personalized care means that appointments can sometimes be difficult to find on short notice. We are continually working to make this specialized approach to care more accessible, but we appreciate your understanding of the limitations of a small, highly focused practice.
Having trouble finding an appointment?
If you don't see an appointment that works for you, please use the “Waitlist” option at the bottom of our online scheduler. You will receive an email and/or text notification when an appointment becomes available during the times you selected, allowing you to book that opening online.
There is also a “Note” field where you can briefly describe what you would like to be seen for. This can be particularly helpful for new patients.
If you have difficulty using the waitlist feature, you are also welcome to call or text our office at (913) 353-6655, and we can help you with the process.

A Note For New Patients
If you are a new patient, you will need to schedule your Initial Visit before adding yourself to the waitlist.
Once you have scheduled your Initial Visit, please take a few moments to complete your online health intake forms. Completing these forms in advance gives Dr. Spurgeon an opportunity to review your information before your appointment and helps us make the most of your time in the office.

Once you schedule your first visit, there will be an option to fill out your intake forms online. If you would rather fill them out on paper, feel free to download the forms below. If you fill them out ahead of time they can be scanned and emailed to [email protected], or bring them with you on your first visit. You're only require to fill out the "Auto Accident Forms" if you were recently involved in an auto accident and are still working with personal injury insurance.
