Partial relief in 21% and complete relief in 74% of cases! For those of you who are unfamiliar, trigeminal neuralgia is a painful condition affecting the trigeminal nerve. Very delighted to come across this useful blog. Trigeminal neuralgia is a condition causing facial pain, usually it is unilateral, right sided or left sided, characterised by sharp, electric shock like pain, which will be having trigger points. Pain lasts for few seconds. Pain is aggravated by chewing, talking, brushing teeth, shaving etc. Initially the condition can be managed with medications.
